Skype France: all communications to landlines free of charge for 4 months!
A marketing coup that’s great for Skype (high acquisition cost but low churn rate (= high retention rate) and for Skypers. Instead of spending huge amounts of € on TV ads, banners and keywords, Skype transfers the value of a marketing campaign to the consumers.
An excellent way for Jérôme Archambeaud, VP France at Skype (see picture), and his teams to build a community, make lead-users like me (I used to use Wengo for IP to landlines, I’ve just switched to Skype) create a buzz, and most of all secure a positive mindset towards Skype products.
Excellent job! Everybody’s happy about this offer except maybe for media buyers and advertisers… Let’s not worry about them.
