Best Newsletters

I’m a big fan of (good) newsletters. Have a good look at the History of the Internet: newsletters are the only tool that have been there since the early beginnings of the wild World Wide Web. There must be a reason why

In the recent weeks, I’ve been restructuring my newsletters portfolio. I was receiving way too many newsletters and couldn’t read 10% of them. (I should do the same with my RSS readers, tabs have been piling up in a very unsustainable way.)

So, now that I’m pretty happy with the remaining ones, here’s the selection of newsletter I decided to remain a subscriber of.

Obviously, please feel free to submit / criticize / recommend additional newsletters – I’d be glad to have a look (unless dismissed already). Please, leave commercial newsletters away – not the purpose of this blog.

    C’est de la boulimie !

Sorri it came first in french ;-) I actuallit understand you very well but my Problem is with feeds as it is very difficult for me to delete some ones.

But how do you find the time to read all newsletters ? Or do you only really read articles that are interesting for you ?

  2. Jeremy Fain says:

    Hey Cedric, happy new year.

Far from reading all newsletters, I just read at the subject of the e-mail and open it when I find something interesting. I did some calculation and it appears that I open more or less 10% of the newsletters I receive daily (about 2/3 newsletters everyday). I print long articles to read it during public transportation time.

Hope it helps and..reassures you :-)

    Jeremy

  3. Nice list, Jeremy. If you still have space in your reading schedule, check out SeekingAlpha, a finance-orientated site.

I’m pretty impressed with what I’m seeing. They have a daily “wall street” overview, called Wall Street Breakfast with summaries on big trends in several areas, like tech, internet, media and most of the other usual suspects, a really comprehensive investment guide (I think), and a good newsletter (I received my first today).

Two thumbs up, but a bit US-centric perhaps. And no, I’m not affiliated with the site in any way.

SeekingAlpha is excellent quality stuff Vince, thank you. And I mean it.
