Personality traits, jobs and.. hobbies

Please someone tell me why:

  • all software developers enjoy reading science-fiction novels & photography;
  • VCs all go running on week-ends, if not at night or early morning weekdays;
  • entrepreneurs either sail boats or learn how to pilot planes.

Is my perception just biased or am I right and there are some nice sociology studies to make in this field?

Since we’re already there, have you noticed other interesting associations between jobs & hobbies recently?

Office Live's simplicity rocks: the case of software company PipoSoft

A big apology to non-French speakers who’re about to miss something: my Centrale Paris classmates & pals Adrien, Yan, Babacar & Jeremy have, for the fun of it, created this website on Microsoft Office Live in a wink. Office Live allows SMEs to promote their business on the web, using a website factoring tool and the power of Adcenter to market it on the Internet. Considering the width of services and advantages, Office Live’s dirt chip, and really, really simple to use (PipoSoft website created in no more than 5 minutes, I’m telling you!). No doubt Office Live will become a killer app amongst entrepreneurs & practice managers willing to make their business visible worldwide.
