Business as usual

“Business as usual” Winston Churchill once said the maxim of British people was. Look at this picture, which gives you a hint of the tremendous business acumen of the Anglo Saxons.

Looking at the monitor for your gate when early, you get to read “relax & shop” in England instead of just nothing elsewhere.

Go to Manchester’s Terminal 2 and be amazed of the lack of information its monitors give you.

I already hated the place when I transferred through it so you can guess how happy I was when my connection flight back home was delayed for more than 6 hours…

It has to be worst terminal anywhere. Never get stranded there.

How common is that airports don’t know the gate until like 30 minutes before take-off? In UK that seemd to be case everywhere. But at least in Helsinki and Arlanda, the information is available much more earlier, I think.

What’s the point in having the info so early? You sit at your gate and wait whilst you can only go shopping if you don’t know which gate you’ll depart from.

Btw, the airport is Leeds/Bradford, a pretty small one.
