Become a billionnaire the Simonyi way
How?

Well, the recipe’s crystal-clear: become a software developer and join a promising start up! (if you don’t know which start up to join, contact me, I’ll put you in touch)
Hungary born former Microsoft software Charles Simonyi, 58, departed from Earth on Saturday, April 7th 2007 and will arrive at its destination point, namely the International Space Station (ISS), in about half an hour today. The total cost of his journey amounts to a mere US$25 million, paid to orbital tourism company Space Adventures.
Charles Simonyi played a major role in Microsoft shift from the middleware and operating system business to the application industry. Hired by Bill Gates himself in the early 80s from Xerox PARC, after Bob Metcalfe recommended Microsoft to him, Charles Simonyi is the lead developer behind MS Excel ancestor Multiplan, a spreadsheet software devised to fight against Dan Bricklin’s Personal Software VisiCalc. Recently arrived Simonyi became instantly famous within Microsoft for giving a breathtaking speech back in November 1981, a speech during which Charles Simonyi envisioned applications as the number one revenue driver for Microsoft when one platform (rather than many operating systems) would’ve established. Charles Simonyi left Microsoft in 2002 to cofound software for software engineering company Intentional Software.
To repeat myself and make things clear: do it the Charles Simonyi way! If you CAN hack code, do not, whatsoever, become a cappuccino-drinking consultant. That would be such a waste…If you want to be rich and have fun, join a start up as a software developer instead. And if you don’t know which start up to join, I’ll put you through.
