They didn’t mention my name, nor did I ever play the lottery, but I feel so honoured for having been selected. It also wasn’t recognised as spam, so it must be real!!!
Booking my world-trip now…

P.S. If you want to win the lottery too, here is the IP which this mail originated from 87.210.73.31 and the mail-adress: lupimarsicani@virgilio.it.

Vince, that last IP and e-mail address could probably belong to a victim whose computer was taken over, so there’s not really any reason to post them. (A quick whois tells that the IP belongs to a Dutch ISP Versatel’s block.)
In Finland, by law and communication agency & ISP co-operation, incoming and outgoing smtp (port 25) is blocked in all consumer connections, except to ISP’s own smtp server. I think this policy is pretty good to deter zombies from sending massive amounts of spam. I hope this policy would be more common, because there’s not really any reason to host your own smtp-server anymore.
